FEES AND INFORMATION – Crime Stoppers International (CSI) has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of a delegate to register. Registration fees MUST be paid in advance. All bank charges, where applicable, will be borne by the registrant. CSI reserves the right to alter the programme, topics and speakers without prior notification to delegates.

In the case of a registrant or accompanying person engaging in harassing behaviour or similar misconduct, CSI reserves the right to impose sanctions as explained in our <Code of Conduct>, which might involve warning an offender but could extend to the individual being expelled from the conference or social event without a refund.

LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER – delegates and companions acknowledge that they have no right to lodge any claim against the CSI should the conference be hindered or prevented from taking place by any unexpected political, economic or pandemic events, or generally by force majeure, or by the non-appearance of scheduled programme changes. With registration, delegates accept this provision.

CSI is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of cancellation of the conference, all pre-paid fees will be refunded in full less any necessary administrative charges incurred. However, CSI is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such cancellation.

INSURANCE – delegates are advised to purchase their own travel insurance and to extend the policy to cover personal possessions as CSI does not cover individuals against cancellation of bookings, theft, or damage to their personal belongings.

ENTRY VISA APPLICATION AND VALIDITY OF PASSPORT – registered delegates should have a valid passport, onward/return tickets, onward facilities (eg visas, entry permits etc) to their next destination and sufficient funds for stay in Singapore. LETTER OF INVITATION – registrants requiring an official letter of invitation for the purpose of obtaining an entry visa to Singapore to attend the 40th CSI Annual Conference may submit their request to CSI via email to [email protected]  A letter of invitation is not a commitment from CSI to provide any kind of financial support, hosting arrangement, nor does it guarantee any entry visa will be issued. The letter will be issued to the requesting registrant only after conference registration fees have been paid in full. Any expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the registrant.

CANCELLATION & SUBSTITUTION POLICY – all requests for cancellation and/or transfer of a registration are subject to the following conditions and must be made in writing to the Conference Chairman via email at [email protected]

  • BEFORE midnight CEST* Friday 16 August 2019 – notification of cancellation received in writing will be accepted and all fees refunded, less an administration fee of SGD$100.
  • BETWEEN 16 August and midnight CEST Friday 13 September 2019 – 50% of total fees will be refunded if notification of cancellation is received in writing.
  • AFTER Friday 13 September 2019 – cancellations cannot be accepted and no refunds will be given, however, transfer of an existing registration to another person is possible on payment of a SGD$100 processing fee. The full name and details of any replacement delegate must be advised in writing to the Conference Chairman prior to the Conference.

No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference.

Bank charges levied during transactions will be borne by the registrant.
